Master Taningco is a Certified Kempo Karate/Jiu-Jitsu Instructor under Master Gasper and Dan Zan-Ryu-Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Ramon Ancho. He also trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) under Professor Luiz Palhares and Filipino Dumog ground-fighting. Senior Instructor, Thomas “J.R.” Reynolds, holds a black belt in BJJ under nationally recognized and Pan-American champion Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Master, Sensei Shawn Hammonds. Sensei Hammonds has been the technical advisor instructor for TAMA’s BJJ program since 2008, where he occasionally travels to TAMA to teach and evaluate the students’ progress.
