What People Are Saying
|
I am now more physically fit, outgoing, and overall, a much
better person than I was before TAMA. It's like a second home, a
second family even, everyone is so close with everyone else. It
has opened may more paths for my future goals, and given me more
to do in my life. Getting my black belt was a life changing
moment for me, and now I have much more to accomplish in the
martial arts. Most people think martial arts is about the belts.
TAMA taught me that it is about honor, respect, and
responsibility. Wesley A. Calton

I was interested in Martial Arts for many years before coming to
TAMA. I tried out several schools in the course of moving around the
country. When I moved to the Dayton area a couple of years ago, I
decided that I would buckle down and get serious about studying
Martial Arts. Knowing what I had in mind, I set out to look for the
best school in the Dayton area. Once I found TAMA I knew that I had
found the place that I was looking for.
I was able to train in the Internal Martial Arts, such as Tai
Chi, and also in Traditional Northern Chinese Kung-fu. Additionally,
my former training in Bruce Lee's "Jeet Kune Do" concepts
were complimented by the deep well of knowledge that Master Taningco
provides for cross training students; in arts such as Kali, Muay
Thai as well as Juijitsu and Dumog grappling.
Since the first day that I set foot in TAMA I have been there
almost every day that the school has been open (often twice a day).
You couldn't drag me away from here.
